Membership Terms & Conditions

1. Membership Tiers & Eligibility
Mocha — Free Tier
Mocha Membership is free and provides entry-level access to BLAC Card curated events and group trips.

  • If you cancel, access continues until the end of your current membership period.

Ebony — Premium Tier (£5.99 Monthly)
Ebony Members receive priority access, exclusive perks, use of the members-only platform, and early event notifications.

  • Monthly fee: £5.99, auto-billed on the same date each month.

  • Cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the billing cycle.

  • Required for Onyx Membership eligibility.

  • By subscribing, you agree to auto-renewal until cancelled (as required by UK subscription transparency laws).

Onyx — Invitation-Only Luxury Tier
Onyx is our highest tier. Registration of interest is open, but acceptance requires an active Ebony Membership.

  • Pricing: disclosed individually (monthly or annual).

  • Includes concierge-level service and ultra-luxury experiences.

  • Additional Onyx Terms may apply upon acceptance.
     

2. Payments, Billing & Renewal Terms

In accordance with UK subscription rules:

  • Payment is taken automatically using the payment method provided.

  • You will be clearly informed of the auto-renewal at sign-up.

  • You can cancel at any time via your account or by contacting us.

  • No further payments will be taken after cancellation.

  • If a payment fails, we may retry. Repeated failure may lead to temporary suspension.
     

3. Cooling-Off Period (UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)
For paid memberships (Ebony and Onyx):

  • You have a 14-day cooling-off period from the day you join.

  • If you cancel within this period and have not accessed premium digital services, you may receive a full refund.

  • If you have begun using member-only features, we may deduct a proportionate amount for services already provided.

     

4. Cancellation by the Member
You may cancel at any time:

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

  • No partial refunds are issued once a billing period has begun.

  • Onyx Members may be subject to additional cancellation terms depending on their bespoke package.
     

5. Our Right to Suspend or Terminate Membership
BLAC Card reserves the right to suspend or cancel any membership (including Mocha, Ebony, or Onyx) if:

  • There is misuse of membership privileges;

  • Fraudulent activity or misrepresentation occurs;

  • The member breaches these Terms or behaves in a manner harmful to our community or reputation;

  • Payment fails repeatedly and is not corrected;

  • We discontinue or update the membership programme (members will be given reasonable notice).

Where termination is due to a breach of terms, refunds may not be provided.

6. Data Usage & Privacy (Aligned with UK GDPR & Data Protection Act 2018)
We collect and process personal data strictly in line with our Privacy Policy. Key principles:

  • Transparency — You are informed how your data is used for membership management, event access, and personalised offers.

  • Consent — You can opt out of marketing at any time.

  • Security — Data is stored safely and not shared without necessity or consent.

  • Rights — You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data.

7. Member Conduct & Fair Use
Members must:

  • Use benefits for personal use only;

  • Not resell, transfer, or exploit membership privileges;

  • Behave respectfully at all BLAC Card events and online platforms.

BLAC Card may revoke membership without refund if behaviour breaches our community standards.

8. Changes to Membership Benefits or Terms
We may update membership benefits or terms occasionally.

  • Members will be notified of significant changes in advance.

  • Continued use of the membership after notification constitutes acceptance.
